When is there going to be a Safari Update? I am running 1.1.1, is there a later version? I think it needs some updating....

Thanks!

For crying out loud, it's only been three months. Good software takes time to write and test, you know.

In fact, if you updated to 10.3.2 there were some core changes that affected Safari, for the good (like title support as tooltips).

He's done the writing, but the testing will take much longer. Also, it's not up to him to decide when the releases will be.

No kidding, that'll be a very bad move by Apple if they don't continue to update the Jag version...

Who is Hyatt?

More importantly... where's his (her?) blog?

Thanks, GoRickey...

Could not open the page “http://www.mozillazine.org/weblogs/hyatt/” because Safari couldn’t connect to the server “www.mozillazine.org”. [ IE couldn't either - FWIW ]

I've not looked at mozillazine before - are they kind of spotty or is this probably just one of those days for their server?

Yeah, their server must be down...first time that I can remember, so it's pretty reliable...

Agreed, though this does seem to be an odd time for them to be down. I do know that they got mentions on both Fark and Slashdot today (Mozilla 1.6 was released, and a new Firebird is due in just a couple of days), so perhaps the ensuing flood of pageviews caused their server to collapse into a black hole?

Really?! I hope that's true. The nightlies have been pretty good, but haven't downloaded once since early December.
