I'm aware that after my machine sits idle for awhile and I try and print (from any application) there seems to be a communication problem. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, all is fine. I'm just getting tired of constantly unplugging the printers.

I have 2 Epson printers, a recent C42UX and an older Stylus 640. It happens to both of them, in both Panther and in Classic layer, so I suspect USB problems. And it's just started happening. Up until just a few days ago, the computer remembered that it has printers connected.

TiBook 1 gHz, Panther 10.3.1.

Any help? Thank you!
