For some reason Command and tilde doesn't let me swap windows in the Finder anymore and I don't know why. Any ideas anyone?

Tried that, I've also tried restarting but to no avail. My next thought was that I've installed something that alters the key bindings but can't find any program that would do so installed.

Check your Services menu items to see if one of them is conflicting with its choice of keyboard combo for activating it.

Check to see if your prefs are set so that command-tilde really switches windows.

Go to System Prefs -> Keybaord & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Rotate Windows

I had the same problem a while back until I noticed that an app added some service menu entries that used the same shortcut. I deleted the app because I wasn't using it anyway, but actually this goes to show that Apple should really give us more control over the services menu.

Thanks everyone, seems it was the Search Google service that had stolen the shortcut (although it shouldn't have).
