a friend of mine, (not me), bought herself a g5, and a printer and whatnot, and upon installing the printer and software for this printer, she wasn't able to print, the test pages and whatnot were able to be printed, but upon printing, communications started, but almost immediately it would stop the print job. she tried to upgrade the printer drivers, but this didn't work either.

the printer model: HP Photosmart 7260
the OSX version: 10.2.6

her previous experience told her to trash the printer preferences, and restart, but, apparently this didn't work.

the system now, doesn't allow you to add or view any printers..

is there any way to restore the printing preferences without having to re-install the OS?

any assistance would be greatly appreciated

How much does it cost to use?

Print Center Repair is fully functional shareware. That means you can download it and try it out for free, but if you use it you should register your copy. A great deal of time and trouble went into the research and construction of this application. Please visit one of the payment links above to register. Your support will help in the continued development of this and other useful MacOS X applications.
