I'm having a big problem with speakable items. When I first installed 10.2 I could make an applescript to say something and put it in the speakable items folder and then say the name of the script and it would work. Now it will recognize the name but it won't actually run the script. Any ideas on how to fix this? I am currently running 10.3.2. Would I need to reinstall the whole os just to get this working?

There is a bug in Panther which means that Speakable Items does not run the new format of scripts. If you want scripts to be speakable you have to save them with the old Script Editor.

Do you know where I might be able to get the old script editor?
