I have been experiencing frequent kernel panics, often when I am away from my computer. Does anyone have any idea what these might be? I am running a dual 1.4 MDD with 1GB RAM, no funny USB hardware or anything, but I am on Ethernet. I have Windowshade and Fruitmenu installed, latest versions.

Here is the latest panic log:

unfortunately, that isn't particularly informative as far as the crash is concerned. I can see you are running 10.3.2 on a dual processor machine, but this doesn't list an error. If you have been having many of these kernel panics, look back through the log and see if any of them reference a specific kernel module.

ACSA 10.4/10.3, ACTC 10.3, ACHDS 10.3

OK, that one's significantly more useful. It looks like there's something going on with your video card (or possibly just the driver for the video card).

Unfortunately, that's all I know from this standpoint, but perhaps someone here knows if there are any issues with the Rage128Pro driver in 10.2.3?

Meanwhile, do you know how to check to make sure that a card is properly seated? I'm guessing that your machine is relatively old, and it's possible that the video card has somehow come loose. If that's the case, it just needs to be put back in properly.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

actually the machine is practically brand new (Dual 1.4Ghz G4), but it is possible that the card has become strained slightly due to the cables trailing out of the back of the machine and up through a hole in my desk.
