Is it just me or do the icons in the finder in Panther sometimes go very wrong?

Yep, I think its's a well known bug, I hope apple is working on it, it's not top priority but it's very annoying...

Yep.. a restart (or logging in/out, too) should provide a temporary fix.

I have this as well. My theory is that clearing the Icon cache and relogin/reboot should fix the problem.

Yeah, I have this quite a bit. What I do is change the icon with a new one (paste), and then I delete (cut) the one I just pasted, and the icon goes back to normal.
