I would love to have my computer running both 10.3 and linux on separate partitions, and I have even set the other one up as blank space, yet when I try various distributions, (Mandrake PPC 8.1, Yellowdog 2.3) It does not recognize my hard drive. I am using a Late 2002 mirror drive door DP 1.25 GHz G4.. does anyone know if newer distributions fix this, or if there is any way to get the current ones to work?

Trying a newer distro couldn't hurt. 8.1 is a pretty old Mandrake version. They're up to 9.1 for PPC now.

Also, how did you set up your partitioning scheme? (With Disk Utility, diskdruid, fdisk, etc.)?
