Can't read swf files?

when i try to look at an swf file, it will load to that address...then not make it there...instead it just says, "go to this address" on the address bar.

My bf could see swf files, on his 15in Ti PB, and i have a 15in AL.

Can anyone help out?

Safari in Panther for some reason can't display Flash not embedded into HTML for me. Other browsers work fine.
