I'm having trouble, I can't mount any dmg files to install software. It gives me an error saying "failed to mount due to error 95. (no mountable files sytems)

Any ideas?

You got a bad DL. Try a more reliable source next time.

I think that the corny one is probably right, but the other question to ask is hat version of MacOS X are you trying to mount it with. There have been several additions to the .dmg format along the way, and older version won't always mount the newer images.

Ok, it turned out I actually downloaded a few bad dmg files in a row. That was the problem. I also upgraded to Panther, and I can't believe how awesome it is....ok geek time :-)
