I was rearranging the "Name", "Last Modified", "Kind", etc. headings on a couple of folders and all of a sudden, all those headings disappeared. I've restarted, run Disk First Aid and Repaired Permissions.

What happened?

I'm running 10.1.5 on a Dual 1 gig Quicksilver.

thanx in advance for any help.

Assuming you're still in "List view":
Show View Options from the View menu and select which columns you want to view.

Done that. Nothing happens.

This is only on two folders and I can't figure out what's different about them.

I guess I should throw in the standard: WHY IN THE NAME OF GOD AND ALL THINGS GOOD ARE YOU SITTING AROUND WITH 10.1.5 ON A DUAL G4 SYSTEM

Don't be one of those "buy the best system, NEVER UPGRADE" type of people.

Is this a work computer or something?

Yup...I'm a state worker on a state computer. But the real issue is that I edit video using Final Cut Pro 3. Right now, this system is VERY stable and I really don't want to do anything that will cause problems. Also, FCP3 will work with 10.2 but not 10.3.

My G4 at home is 10.3.whatever the newest is...so I upgrade when I need to. But this machine's primary function is editing and as long as it's doing that well, I'm pretty much okay.

Maybe a stupid solution: But are those columns just off to the side and you have to scroll left/right to see them?
