Hello, I am trying to troubleshoot a problem with my osx boxes and a ftp server that is running os9 and appleshare ip for the ftp software. The FTP server is on a ip address that is outside my internal network. From within my network I can copy to and from the server just fine with my pc's and os9 boxes but all my osx boxes (panther and jag) are very slow. I have tried mounting the FTP drive on the desktop as well as using fetch to get to it. Fetch did transfer faster then a mounted drive but both were still very slow compared to the other platforms. Another strange thing is that transferring to it from osx seems faster then receiving from it.
