I just installed the Security Update 2004-1-26Jag for 10.2.8.

In the release notes it says that several applications including Safari and Mail are affected.

However, it does not appear that the version numbers of these apps have changed after applying the update...

Furthermore, I have installed several updates yet the "Installed Updates" pane shows no entries...

I know for sure Safari's version number won't change because the change was actually in WebKit and not Safari.
