Hi -- With Panther, I can now fax again without buying additional software. So I got everything hooked up (have DSL modem, connected to airport Extreme and both wired PC and Mac, and wirelesss laptop).

I can fax, but what I cannot seem to do is load the preferences in System Preferences. It hangs on the print and fax preferences. The other ones (CD/DVD, Monitor, etc.) all seem to come up quickly, but this one hangs.

Any one able to offer insight? As I said, I can still fax (and I might buy another program anyway) and people receive them, but I can't load the preferences.

Interestingly, I just checked on my laptop and I have no trouble getting the preferences (print and fax) on it. I even did a restart, thinking the computer was just bogged down, but it made no difference.

Anyone else getting this? Anyone have any idea why this one preference won't load? (Or does no one care b/c it's Super Bowl SUnday?!!)
