Here's an odd question.

I have a folder left over from an abandoned web project that contains more than 35 other folders, and inside each of those is anywhere between two and five other folders. In each of these is a variety of files, mostly HTML and JPG files, but also several SWFs. There are probably more than than 200 SWFs in all.

My question is this: what is the simpliest way to move all the SWF files into one folder? I don't care about the other stuff and plan on deleting it. The only thing I really want to preserve is the .swf files.

Any advice is appreciated (keep in mind I'm one of those folks that has never even launched the Terminal).

Open a finder window
Select the root folder of the website
In the search field, type .swf
All the files below the root folder with .swf will appear.
Select all the files and move them to a new folder

Should take all of 10 seconds

Dang. See, this is why I post here. I knew there was a smart way to do it...I just wasn't smart enough to figure it out.
