How do I find out which version Bluetooth firmware is on my system? I cannot seem to find anywhere that lists the version. I checked system profiler but it is not listed. Any ideas?

I don't think you can - you just have to run the FW updater and it'll tell you if you're up to date.

Do not use the fw updater with non-D-Link adpaters.

The firmware updater should check if your Bluetooth adapter is a D-link.
It is not doing that, and so it can be harmful, as some users have experienced.
The updater does run in my case, using a Sitecom adapter, but even after installing, there is no change at all. Happily mine still works, but I cannot see any headset option whatsoever.
The fact that Apple only supports D-link adapters is a shame.
