Hi. As Safari likes to download stuff to the HD, I have created a folder in which all downloaded stuff, such as video clips, picutres, files and etc are stored. Now I have no knowledge of Apple script. I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to make a script that allows me to delete folder content through a right click, or send content to Trash.

Thank you so much

er, is cmnd-A, cmnd-delete too much of an effort? seriously, i can't see how running a script could be much easier than that.

Or just select them with your mouse and right-click then and put them to trash?

But when his mom or girlfriend or wife comes in the room, he wants to be able to delete those videos and pictures without first bringing the folder to the front.

Code:
tell application "Finder" set the_stuff to the entire contents of folder "Users:urban:Downloads" move the_stuff to the trash end tell
Paste this into Script Editor, then save it in Users:urban:Library:Scripts. Open Applications:Applescript:Install Script Menu, and then you can run the script from your menubar whenever you need to
