I am hapily set up with Postfix running on Panther. However I would like to be able to specify one of my work machines the ability to send mail through my home server. Since I have a fixed DNS at work is there a way to tell postfix that this is a trusted machine and to accept mail from it.

Thanks
Robert

Yes, this is one of the many options that you can set for postfix in eht file

/etc/postfix/main.cf

Look for the section TRUST AND RELAY CONTROL

Add (or change) the line:

mynetwork = 1.2.3.4/32

(32 indicates the whole address is one host only. Not sure it is needed though).

obviously, replace 1.2.3.4 with the IP address of you machine at work (and make sure it is not NAT'ed).
