I keep some of my hard drives’ partitions in the files section of the Dock for easy access. Lately (after the upgrade to 10.3.2) the Dock has taken to suddenly refreshing itself. After which the icons for the partitions are no longer in the Dock! All that remains in the files section is the Trash and the House for my user folder. I use hide and show so the Dock is usually hidden so I don’t actually know exactly when the disappearance takes place, but what seems to happen just before I notice the icons have disappeared is that the screen “blinks”. Similar to when you do a force quit relaunch of the finder. Does anyone have any suggestions? It is annoying to have to keep dragging these items constantly in to the Dock only to have them mysteriously disappear an hour or so later.
I tried repairing the permissions but to no avail.

You may have a corrupt Dock preferences file (but usually, that causes the blue screen of death).

You could also try making a folder in your home directory with aliases to all of your drives and then put the aliases in the dock.
