I keep trying to download the OS X Java software update, but it keeps giving me an error message and an option to file a bug report. All of the other OS X upgrades downloaded as expected.
What's the significance of all those cache files over time? They certainly seem to be occasional trouble-makers.
Any reason I should occasionally just trash BOTH cache folders (root level and user level)? Any apps that might have seizures? ( my cache folders are only about 40MB and 100MB totals)
