Hi, I'm looking for benchmarks of the built-in firewire network capabilities of OS X, are there any available? I want to know wether it's possible to edit DV movies (iMovie) through a Firewire network (i don't have gigabit ethernet).

I don't have a link of benchmarks for you; however, it shouldn't be an issue to do what you described above just fine...
