I have Fast User Switching enabled on my G5. I have an admin account, and my wife has a limited (managed) account.
I've noticed that if her account is logged in, I am unable to mount most CDs to my desktop, especially music CDs (but also have a problem with data CD/CDR/CDRWs, too). Reboots don't help.

Any thoughts?

Addendum (and work-around): if I log her account out, then back in, I can mount CDs on my desktop. But at some point in time, it'll quit mounting CDs. I have to log her out (then back in) again. I've been unable to yet determine how long her account must be logged in before my account looses the ability to mount CDs.

Wild, I've never noticed this behavior before...
