I frequently run Quark 4.11 in Classic mode. It consistently crashes after a few hours: all the menus and palettes just disappear and I have to force quit Quark and Classic to get it going again. It occassionally gives me the message: "Unable to access network" eventhough I'm not ever connected to any network at home.

Any advice for me? It seemed to get worse when I recently upgraded from 10.2.4 to 10.2.6

Thanks!

Quark sucks in Classic (at least, IMHO). Not much better in 10.2.8 or 10.3.2. It's one of the reasons why I still keep an OS 9-bootable Mac.

I do not like them, Sam I am.
