I sometimes telnet into my Panther iMac from a wireless laptop when I have stuff to do in Unix and don't need to be sitting at my desk; I disable 'sleep' so it won't shut down on me while I'm in the middle of something but when done I do want to be able to put the computer to sleep, preferably without having to physically go into the office to do so.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a command or something I could issue from inside unix, that would put the whole system into sleep mode?

Thanks!
