I have a .Mac account. In the past I have no problem adding people to my buddy list. I just tried to add someone and got the message:

---------------------------------------------------------------

AIM Error

Could not add <name> to your buddy list.
(Feedbag error 17)

---------------------------------------------------------------


I am using iChat AV 2.1 (beta). Could the reason be the beta software or is something else going on?

How many screen names do you have? If you have 200 you can not add anymore.
