After the installation of 0sx 10.3.2 the apple dvd player doesn't start anymore. Initiation error -5000. Anyone having the same trouble or knows a solution? we are running a g5/1.6 ghz

Have you tried repairing the permissions using Disk Utility? That fixes a lot of weirdness that sometimes occurs after OS updates.

fixing the disc permissions didn't work. is it possible that this error occures when you used up the region code changes? the dvd player wouldn't even start without a dvd inserted though...
