I have tried to search for information about how to print from a remote location (say home) to office printers. It appears that I can do it with Internet Printing (IPP). I have setup the printer URL in the format http://hostname:631/printers/printer_queue but that was not successful. I have also turned on the Printer Sharing in the System Preferences Pane, and opened Port 631 in the office router.

When I tried to type in the URL in a web browser, it actually gives me the following message:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access the resource on this server.

So I tried the URL http://usernameassword@hostname:631/printers/printer_queue but was also not successful.

Thanks in advance for help!
