Is there any way to turn the airport/bluetooth on and off automatically with the network location? Depending whether I am at home or on in the library, would like to have these devices turn on and off automatically.. not a big deal, but saves a little bit of time and helps me get the most out of the battery by not forgetting to turn bluetooth/wireless off when I'm not somewhere that I need them!

Thanks!

would this work:

system preferences > network:
location > new location > name it (airport bluetooth off ((for example))
show > network port configurations
uncheck airport / bluetooth

do this again but for a location for airport bluetooth on

then in the apple menu > location > airport bluetooth off

and i would _assume_ that that will turn off airport and bluetooth.
then when you want airport and bluetooth on location > airport bluetooth on

off the top of my head...

[edit] hmmm... just tested this and it does not turn airport back on. <.<
i'm clueless

Wow! Thanks a lot.

I have been thinking of that solution for that for some time but never tried it! Just disabled the Airport port for my office location and now when I am at work, Airport is disabled. Going back to my home location turns it on again. Great!

It seems to work provided that I first turn the wireless options on in the locations where the ports are on. Then when I go to "wired" they are turned off! Thanks for the help!
