I was trying to find a list on Apple's site of the supprted DVD burner drives...but they do not seem to have one. Does anyone know what is the best way to find out if a drive will work under OSX?
Apple likes to sell their own slightly overpriced superdrives so you can't expect much support from that side.
Generally third-party software won't have any problems with other drives while Apple software like iDVD will often refuse to work with them, but sometimes there are easy workarounds to get them running.
