Hi,

Could anyone please send me the following file (from Mac OS X Panther)?

"BaseSystem.pkg" - this file is located in Library/Receipts.

I accidentatly deleted this file (along with other) from this directory. Apple suggested reinstalling Panther or copying from other installations.

jacekr@telusplanet.net

Kind Regards Jack

Locate a package of the same name on your OS X install CD/DVD or on any 10.3.x update dmg images (get them from Apple's update page). Find the most recent one and doubleclick (= install) it, then it will put an appropriate receipt pkg in you receipts folder again.
And for a safe use of Mac OS X don't delete files accidentally.
