I have been trying to solve this Suitcase problem in 10.3.3 on my TiBook. Every time I restart or attempt to launch Suitcase it unexpectedly quits. I have tried running Norton but this unexpeectedly quits too!! I have tried running fsck -f in single user mode, it fixes some problems but then finds the same problems everytime I re run fsck.

This is beginning to annoy. Am on the verge of wiping disc and starting again.

Any ideas.

Delete its preferences that are in your home folder's preferences folder.

Be sure that you have turned on check for corrupt fonts before adding your fonts back in.

Make sure that the fonts folder at the root library, home library and classic fonts folders are all empty.

Have binned prefs. No good. HAve binned app and re-installed from discs. Still no good.
Still cant get norton to run, also I don't understad wht fsck -f keeps thowing up the same errors that it corrects then they come straight back.

I read somewhere else on the forums that running low on disc space can damage OSX. The other week my mac reported I was running low on disc space and showed only around 500K (yes K) left available. Quitting Photoshop moved this back up to about 300 Mb and binning everyhting I really didnt need brought it back up to 2 gig spare. Perhaps this sent things wonky!

Have you re-started since then? Usually trashing Suitcase prefs sets it to rights.
