I'm running the latest Safari build on the latest Panther build and Safari is currently downloading a great many files (not all) as foo.dms files when the originals are foo.zip or foo.dmg, etc. It looks like this is a Speed Download problem. I've removed it but the problem persists. Thanks.

You need to use the Speed Download uninstaller to remove Speed Download correctly.

Ah, the uninstaller. Unusual for a Mac. I had deleted all (I thought) traces of the app and so didn't know it came with one.
