Lately I have been having problems clicking items. If I double click somthing I usually have to move the mouse off of the item to click it again...in other words if I click a button or icon 10 times in a row without moving the pointer itl'll only register the first two and NOT respond to the last 8!
Any one have a similar problem? If so how did you deal with it?
I have Windowshade installed on my computer. Could that be a contributor to this anomaly?
Thanks,
G

Is there something about this question that is not appropriate? Is there no one who knows what I am talking about?
No one has any ideas?

Problem + APE installed => your own fault
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

If APE is at fault what is the best method of removing it?

I have a similar problems. I can't get the mouse (at times) to click on certain items on the lower portion of my screen. For example, on Safari, I can't scroll down with the down arrow at the bottome portion of the screen. If I make the Safari window smaller so that the bottom arrow is positioned at the middle of my screen, then it works.

I don't have windowshade installed, but I do use the powermate and it hasn't been working just right either. I'm not sure how to disable it or remove the software from the system preferences.

It's driving me crazy.

Help, PLEASE!
