Hi
I have a question regarding the built in OSX apache web server. I was wondering where I would go to change the port it runs on by default. I can turn it on and off from the system prefs box, but I can't find anywhere where I can edit those preferences. I'm not against having to compile my own version from scratch, I would just like an easier way. I'm running 10.2. Thanks.
Nate

Edit /etc/httpd/httpd.conf. Find where it says "Port 80". Change 80 to whatever you want. Then, turn web sharing off and then on again. That should be it!

This is the configuration file:
/etc/httpd/httpd.conf
Find the line "Port 80" and change the number to what you like.
(You need to save this file as root).
