when connecting my pb 15" 1.25 to my xp box wirelessly, of course i hit go, connect to server, and then toggle down the folder on the pc i want to access. i know very little about mac, and i'm wondering how difficult it would be to setup a hotkey that skips all of the previous steps and opened the folder i want. sorry, i'm a little out of it right now so if this doesn't make sense, all apologies. thanks for any help.

http://forums.macnn.com/90/mac-os-x/203212/map-network-drives-on-startup/

I started this thread awhile back to make an applescript to somewhat do what u want. It doesn't map to a key, but u can make an applescript into an app and go that route. I'm pretty sure there's a way to map a key to an app, which might solve your problem (not sure how, but I have a feeling I'v eread about freeware that'll do that).

Hope this is a good starting point for you.

You should be able to simply make an alias of that network folder and open it by doubleclicking it. If you're using 10.3 it might not behave as expected at the moment though, but that should be fixed and remember your password in the soon upcoming 10.3.3.
