Does anyone know if there is software to sync a file or folder to ipod. I only have like a 1.5 gigs left on my which is enough to backup current projects I'm working on (all others on cds). Something like Retrospect seems like overkill.
I have been just drag and dropping but figured someone would have added this funtionality to iSync or something.

wouldn't an applescript be able to do this?

do you want it to look for changes and only update those changes on the ipod, or just dump the entire folder across every time the ipod is plugged in?

I like to use psync for firewire backups and rsyncX for network backups. Psync needs to be installed on Panther while rsync needed an update to 2.6.0. if you go to www.bombich.com (the guy who brought us Carbon Copy Cloner) there is a great tutorial on backups and syncs.
