How can I access my /usr directory from Mac OS 9?

I need to copy over some stuff, and the OS X install on this particular box is recked (not going to boot). To little room on the partion to archive and install.

So I'm looking to access hidden directories, in particular /usr, and /etc

Try using the OS 9 scripteditor:

tell application "Finder" to open alias "MacHD:usr:"

Otherwise you'll just need to find a tool to make them visible.

Cool.

I did some more research after this post, and found out that good old ResEdit was all that's needed
