Some Apps stop working when Font Book is not loaded. Calculator, Proteus, iChat etc.

I think I have enabled the standard system fonts (I has serious problems once when there weren't enabled). But I am not SURE. If anybody could post a list of the basic system fonts installed in the original package.... would be really nice.

Furthermore, are there any ideas out here what could cause my problems? Though FB is faster and sum minor bugs are removed I tend not to have it loaded all the time.

I hear on FB strangeness at time
I recently had all custome fonts that I had installed in FB disappear for no reason.
Also any iApp+safari wouldn't start because I had turned off some system Fonts. I really think FB should warn you that turning of a particluar font will stop an app running or may do.

I know this cannot be covered by all apps but atleast iApps.

Then again now I know what the deals is when Safari will not start.

FB really needs some refinement espacially in how the Fonts are orgaized in the Library/Fonts folders. Any collection you make in FB I think should be reflected in the Fonts folder.

I just noticed I have a library/Fonts2 folder. Whats the deal with that

Logging in another user and then logging back could help...
