A question for those of you on some kind of LAN. Do you see the mac
you are sitting in front of on the network when you look in Network
in the Finder ? I don't. Others on my network do. I was trying
to work out what the difference between my and their settings
was. We are all using 10.3.3.
Thanks - Michael

I only see Servers. I don't see my computer as a separate icon, if that's what you mean.

I see myself in Local and always have, even prior to 10.3.3
Could it be an AppleTalk thing? I have AT on, FWIW.

Its dumb you have to go servers->.local->Users to get to other people's public, apple should make that a little simpler
