Hello
I've had some downloading problems in Safari for a while now. I'm running 10.3.2, but the same thing used to happen in Jaguar as well. When i'm downloading from a few sites, the download gets to the end but doesn't stop! It just keeps going.

The same thing has now just happened in SoftwareUpdate when I tried to download the 10.3.3 update this morning. It got to 74meg of 58.8meg before i cancelled it!

Anyone else have the same problems? I thought it was the proxy here at work, but then i remembered it has happened at home in Safari before...

Oh, that's your answer for everything

Does resetting Safari or deleting its prefs work?

This would belong to the Software Forum. If you post there and use "Safari downloading problems" or something like that as title you might get more attention.

Try deleting the cache and the preferences.

Tried a few Guinnesses last night, seemed to do the trick

Anyway i've managed to download the standalone installer this morning after clearing the cache and stuff. It's installed ok so hopefully everything will be ok now.
