Hi,

I'm responsible of 30 OS X Panther based Macs. Here is the problem I can't solve.

Since Panther, when I launch NetInfo Manager to enable the Root Account, it asks me for my Admin password and doesn't seem to enable the Root.

It's really strange, I can act as Root (using "su") in the Terminal, I can login as a Root User. But if I open NetInfo Manager and try to make modifications to accounts on my computer and enter as Root User in the NetInfo Manager (login : Root, Password : *****), NetInfo Manager doesn't accept the password for the Root (this pass works when I login as Root or use the Terminal as Root).

I tried several things, reset password etc but none is working.

Any Idea will be helpful

Thanks
