We have about 40 mac's at our workplace all running osx, panther and Jag. All of our work (prepress) is stored on a win 2k server. Transfer speeds are good but browsing the server in the finder is very slow. We mount the servers via appletalk (afp://10.0.0.55) with no problems but once we try and browse through large job folders you always get the spinning wheel and have to wait. All of our os9 and PC boxes can browse the servers very quickly. I was hoping that the 10.3.3 update would help the situation but it seems nothing has changed for me.
