Hey all, I've been searching all over apple's developer website, and google, and arstechnica, and everywhere and I can't seem to find how the os handles cpu scheduling, central memory and i/o devices. This is for an OS Concept class, as an extra credit assignment, but I can't find anything. Especially on the CPU scheduling. Anyone know where I would go to look? Thanks for your time

Sincerely,
Mel

You might want to look at some resources for the Mach Mircokernel and BSD, specifically FreeBSD. OS X uses portions from both (runs the BSD kernel on top of Mach, I believe. But I haven't double checked that recently.)

Anyway, I hope that gives you some better direction to look in. Good luck!
