No - especially since that's probably not 10.4 - it's probably 10.3 with a tech. preview of spoken interface components.

Just like the Bluetooth tech preview for 10.2 - the final code ended up in Panther - but it wasn't Panther.
You know it makes sense. ☼ ☼ ☼ Growl.

Matt, I don't believe it's so much as "turning on" as it is being encoded that way from the beginning using some other 3rd party app like this:

http://www.ccaption.com/

QuickTime just supports it...

The movie has to have had Subtitles added specifically.

How does one actually get to the technology preview? The questionnaire doesn't seem to be working.

This is a problem for me. I likely wouldn't actually use this screenreader myself -I have no need for it personally- but I would like to start testing my Web pages to make sure that they work properly with it. However, despite this alleged offer of a technology preview, said preview is nowhere to be found.

Reading the web page, I never assumed there would be software to download and install under Panther. I think they just wanted to show that they are working on screen reading technology and get user feedback in order to improve the product. I doubt there will be any public beta period for this, at least not anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure it will work with mine, since 10.3 had no problem with it.
