CD Wont eject after 10.3.3 update?

i tried ejecting my CD using the f12 key, and nothing. try dragging to trash, works fine.. anyone else experience this?

Mine won't eject even when I drag it to the trash. I'm sure a restart will fix this.

if it's stuck in there, boot up while holding the mouse button down.

hey, i'm having the same problem! i was worried my drive died on me. is it possible to revert back to 10.3.2?

Same problem here after updating to 10.3.3 I can eject by dragging.

Works just fine for me, on my iBook G4 12" 800MHz and on my iMac G4 17" 1GHz.

There's appearantly a new preference on the keyboard pane that lets you specify if the function keys behave like normal or if they do custom things. Try Fn + F12 and maybe that will eject?

If restarting with the mouse depressed doesnŐt work, sometimes this works:

Open iTunes and then, in the lower right corner is an Eject symbol, try clicking on that. This technique has been known to work when other methods fail. But why that is, I dunno.

Still, I hope it is of help.

I get the same issue. But why wouldnt I? Its a Mac.
