After upgrading to airport 3.3.1 I noticed a marked decrease in signal strength. I helped this somewhat by rebooting the base station and then using the admin tool to force a b-type connection instead of a g-type connection.

Found my problem. Someone must have been around my router downstairs as I found both antennas pushed down. Must have happened the same day I downloaded the update.

I'm definitely having airport issues. Connections just dropping, "There was an error joining the Airport network xxx`", and the like. I need to shut off airport and turn it back on to reconnect.
Seemed to coincide with the 10.3.3 update, but I am not really sure.
If I wanted to completely reset my networking preferences (remove all my locations, etc.) what file would I delete?

I'm also having airport problems. Problems staying connected; problems recognizing the base station. There were some issues before the up-date, but it seemed to get worse afterwards.
I'd really like an answer. One friend (who helps write the O'Reilley books) said the base station may be faulty.

Well, I came across a very odd solution to my problem. My base station (both my old graphite one and my current Buffalo AirStation) was named 23Summit. I changed the name to something that didn't start with a number and everything has been fine since.
