I have found some strange glitches in the new version of 10.3.3
Here are some of the bugs I have run across.

-Randomly unable to shut down my ibook. I try pressing the power button, nothing. I try using the shut down menus from the apple menu, nothing. I often end up forcing the machine to quit.

-DVD Player wont play VIDEO_TS folders. It used to! I like to have my dvd's copied to my hard drive...as it was really convenient, and now I am unable to do so!

-CD ROM's dissapear off the desktop when I have other Windows selected, or browse through the Finder. When I click on the desktop, the CD is still gone. I have to use F12 to eject and re-insert.

-Although startup times have improved, sometimes my system simply doesnt start up. (I'm not sure if 10 minute starting time is normal). But I sometimes wait up to 10 minutes before I simply shut down and try again.

These are the only known issues I have. Other than that...the updates good.

I'm still able to play VIDEO_TS folders in 10.3.3 but can't really speak for the other stuff.

Have you tried repairing permissions?
