Hi,
I've done something to my PowerBook to stuff up the networking. The last thing I remember doing before I had problems was deleting a few AppleShare passwords in keychain access.
For Info:
192.168.0.1 = iMac
192.168.0.2 = PowerBook
On the PB, I can't ping 192.168.0.2 - 100% packet loss.
On the iMac, I can't ping 192.168.0.2 - 100% packet loss.
On the PB, I can't ping 192.168.0.1 - I get an error after every ping - "ping: sendto: Permission denied"
On the iMac, in finder, under network, the PB shows, but when I try to connect, I get a spinning beachball.
On the PB I can connect to the iMac via network.
Using Safari on iMac, the PB shows up under Rendezvous, but can't connect.
If I Safe Boot the PB, all is good.
What do you think could be stuffed? What (config?) file should I check or replace?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
