I noticed starting last week that no matter how many times I run Disk Utility to verify/repair permissions, it finds one of them messed up and tries to repair it. Normally I don't have to repair permission unless I've installed something, and the only thing I installed last week was Fireworks, after which I ran Disk Utility. As you can see, Disk Utility keeps repairing the same permission:
Determining correct file permissions.
We are using special permissions for the file or directory ./System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs/cd9660.util. New permissions are 33261
The privileges have been verified or repaired on the selected volume
Then, running it again:
Determining correct file permissions.
We are using special permissions for the file or directory ./System/Library/Filesystems/cd9660.fs/cd9660.util. New permissions are 33261
The privileges have been verified or repaired on the selected volume
I can keep repairing permissions and get the same results every time. Any idea what cd9660.fs/cd9660.util is, and why D.U. is having trouble with it? Any advice appreciated.
