I have given up on Fink as it screws up so often for me. I also do not want to use the pkg installers which throw files all over the place possibly making problems for OS X.

I found and am using a packaged version of Gimp which is an .app file. It is totally self contained and runs great under X11. I have also found XAbiWord.app which works great as well. I am curious if there is a place where I can search for other X11 programs which are pre-packaged in self contained .app folders. Or does anyone know of any other X11 programs packaged this way?

Thanks.

NeoOffice/J is OpenOffice.org 1.0.3 packaged as a .app. It's very nice.
